But if you look one county over to the west, you'll find a Pet Food Pantry program located in Eau Claire. The Eau Claire County Humane Society has joined up with the St. Francis Food Pantry to offer animal food and supplies once a month. To find out when they'll be offering animal supplies, either call (715) 839-7706 or visit their website to find when they'll next be open. It may be a little bit of a drive depending on where you live in Clark County, but it's still an available option.
Just because there isn't a pet food pantry in Clark County now, doesn't mean it has to stay that way. It is possible for things to change. Please consider donating items such as dog food or cat liter to your local food pantry. That way when they're asked if they ever have animal supplies available, their response can change from "maybe once a year" to "every month or so."
Every little bit helps, and if it puts a wag in a tail you know it puts a smile on a face.
